We so Fancy

Pretty, huh. Especially since I live in the land of perpetual summer and the accompanying bare skin. We all know that drugs have side effects. Just watch t.v. for a while, but really, do I have to have every one? Sorry, little bit of a pity party, but I just so want to feel healthy and NORMAL. Two nights ago I layed down for a nap and slept from 5 PM until the following morning at 7 AM. I have been achey, dizzy, fatigued, just overall felt nasty on this medication. Aaahhh.... Enough. I have missed a ton of work, but luckily I have such a kind, understanding boss who has worked with me through these last few months. I am taking this medication to prevent a blood clot in my heart and I have to take it for 4 more months. My doctor said he has never seen anyone really have a problem with this drug like I am having. They even tested me for swine flu. I am just trying to keep in mind the end result. A healthy heart and a healthy baby. I know dealing with this medication for the next four mon...

Mike and I played tourists for the day and went down to Miami to see the millionaire's row cruise. It was a lot of fun. It's crazy to think that these people are all neighbors. What a life! I posted a lot but not everything. Pretty much every famous Latin singer, actor, whatever lives on these islands. (Paulina Rubio, Shakira, etc.) Love my man and the beautiful Miami skyline! Bahamas cruise ship Hard Rock Cafe- not that great of a photo. But interesting fact- it is the only Hard Rock without an electric guitar on the roof. It flew away when Hurricane Wilma hit a couple years ago. Fisher Island- totally exclusive. Can only be reached by boat, helicopter, etc. No roadway. J-Lo and Marc Anthony as well as Oprah have places here. Hibiscus and Star Island homes the BIG man- Shaquille ONeal- as you can see- some people value privacy Ricky Martin's place-interesting globe?! Not sure what that's about. Gloria Estefa...

I never watch this show, but Mike made me come watch this act. Watch and have a good laugh!

...AND NOT A MIGRAINE!! I feel amazing. More energy than I have ever had in my life. What a blessing!

Here I am a couple hours post-surgery. Here I am a couple days post surgery. Healing Florida style. My surgery went great. Thanks for all the love and prayers, messages and phone calls. I really appreciate it. My doctors found a much larger hole than they expected. They repaired it and I was out of the cath lab within 40 minutes. Really amazing stuff. My heart feels really good. I am sore from the catheter they inserted into each thigh to use to implant the device in my heart. That will take a while to heal. Other than that I am feeling amazingly well.

This is my cute student Ingrid who found my surgeon for me. I owe her a big thank you. She says all she wants is for me to be pregnant by Christmas. Deal! And Ingrid-- A's for you!
